For a lot of people, it’s tough to order anything other than chicken tenders at Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen. We recommend the Chicken Tender Platter with fries and broccoli cheese casserole. It’s a huge portion, so come hungry or save everything but the fries for a second dinner or a midnight snack! If you get it to go, don’t miss out on the little crunchies in the box. Easily one of the best parts!
Fish Daddy’s AKA FD’s Grillhouse has pretty quickly become a hotspot for southsiders. It is a chain restaurant, but it feels like a Springfield original when you dine in. Super-friendly staff and a great atmosphere are jut a few highlights of FD’s.

Sure, you go to Lambert’s for the throwed rolls, but once you’re there you can seriously dig in to a cornucopia of southern comfort food. The chicken dishes are pretty popular at Lambert’s, as they cook about a quarter of a million pounds of chicken every year in their restaurants! Remember, there are no doggie bags, but you can have as many tenders as you can handle because everything is all you can eat!
