8376 W Farm Road 68
For a family-friendly dining experience with down home, good old fashioned American food, you can’t go wrong with Junction cafe. It’s in the spot that Wimpy’s used to occupy and carries some similar traits to the classic Cotner’s restaurant. It serves it’s hearty country style breakfast all day long, which means there’s a good spot to have those breakfast-for-dinner nights. Plus, it does burgers really well. Just like Wimpy’s burgers are in the wheelhouse for Junction Cafe! If burgers aren’t your thing, there’s plent more to choose from on the robust menu! One of Willard’s favorite spots!
304Â E Jackson suite 1B
In May of last year, Willard welcomed Jackson Street Deli to the community with open arms. Ever since they’ve been doling out awesome sandwiches to the folks in town. They’re known for their bagel burgers and sandwiches, but they have a ton of options for hungry patrons. From 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. you can use the drive thru to pick up a quick meal! Check em out!
As one Yelp user says on Korean Garden’s page, “Sometimes the best things come in a plain wrapper.” It may not have the beautiful architecture of The Order in Springfield, but it does have tasty Korean-Chinese fusion food. You can get all the classic Springfield-style Chinese-inspired dishes like cashew chicken and sweet and sour. Plus, you can get stuff like Kam Poong and Kim Chee and Kyong’s Chicken. What it lacks in pizzazz, it makes up for in good, fast service and tasty food.
US-160 next to Murfin’s
Authentic Mexican cuisine in a casual dining setting is the name of the game at El Venero. It’s got a great location on US 160 right next to Murfin’s and the Verizon store. All your favorite Mexican dishes are available. Locals rave about their service almost as much as they rave about the green enchiladas and burrito options. It’s the perfect place for a family dinner without having to go all the way to Springfield!
430 W Jackson Street
If you’re looking for the Cheers of Willard, Missouri, look no further than No Doubt Saloon. This is a great place for folks to come and hang out, meet fellow Willard residents and enjoy some fine country cooking. Check them out on Walleye Wednesday or Prime Rib Friday. Oh, and don’t miss All you Can Eat Catfish Saturday! This place is like a modern reimagining of an old west saloon (without all the duels)
If you’re hungry for some Southern style barbecued food, Naomi’s Cafe is the spot for you! Locals love the burnt ends and the turkey and mashed potatoes. They’re also widely known for their large portions, so make sure you bring an appetite! The menu is not exclusively barbecue, it also features breakfast all day, a nice range of sandwiches and snack-tizers that are great before or between meals!
